In the wide bay between the tip of the "Bishop" and the rocky tip Maiolo relaxes the village of Spotorno: the promenade and the long beaches immediately declare the tourist vocation of this beautiful country of Liguria which has retained, in its most ancient, medieval to the typical linear development along the coastal path. 

 

The country is divided into two sections: the coastal, which revolves around the current Via Mazzini and Garibaldi and the parish church of the Santissima Annunziata, and the more ancient, del Monte, centered around the castle. 

 

Spotorno has three miles of sandy beaches lapped by crystal clear sea, rank among the finest in the western and organized in about 40 beaches, in addition to the free beaches and free ones equipped. 

For those who love diving tourism Spotorno offers many hiking opportunities in waters rich in life and interesting conformations, either along the coast or in the vicinity 

the island of Bergeggi, at which there were also found ancient pottery fragments. The seabed is characterized by the presence of a rich prairie seaweed Posidonia.
